Navigating the seas since 2007. We just keep moving.

We vow to stay real, transparent, and true to our craft. We never stop working towards where we ought to be.

THE STORY GOES LIKE THIS:

In 2015, After 8 years of navigating through the mammoth that is the music industry, artist manager Beth Slocum, had a realization at her happy place (Blind Pass, Captiva Florida.) Through her years of experience developing new artist’s careers, once one thing happened, it took the project into several other directions so far removed from what the original task was at hand. One theme stayed consistent: always looking 10 steps ahead at the ultimate goal.

A Blind Pass by definition is “to pass the ball without looking, evaluating where it ought to be.” And so that defines our strategy. We keep moving. We look ahead. Always estimating where we “ought to be.”

A CURVE BALL:

So after finding the perfect name for the business, the United States government declined the business name registration, claiming that the word “Blind” cannot be registered as a business OR a legal entity. So after huffing and puffing, the name was changed to “Red Pass Entertainment”, after the Red Pass gap in the Avawatz Mountains in California. Part of the Old Spanish Trail, it was led by the pioneers over rough terrain.

Navigating the music industry can be just that - rough terrain - it isn’t easy, and it’s not for the faint of heart.
